First Look: Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde of 'Zootopia' Attend Movie Premiere!

The red carpet premiere for Zootopia happened earlier today, and while I'm sure the highlight of the event was the actual movie itself, the official first appearance of Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps was a close second!

Judy represents those only interested in the movie, whereas Nick
represents those interested in the characters.

Disney's official Instagram, as well as D23's account, shared photos of the movie's starring duo. Judy Hopps is Zootopia's newest police officer, and Nick Wilde is the scam artist who helps her solve her first case.

My only request at this point? Bring these two to Walt Disney World! (And the other parks...but definitely Florida!)

'Zootopia' Teaser is Here Already!

Even though Zootopia doesn't open till next March, Disney has already released a short teaser trailer for the flick!

I don't know about you, but I am super pumped for the return of a Disney film in the style of Robin Hood! That film is classic!

New Plot Details for 'Zootopia' Announced

A year from today, Disney’s next animated flick, Zootopia, premieres, as announced via several Disney social media websites.

In one year…#Zootopia. March 4, 2016. The modern mammal metropolis of Zootopia is a city like no other. Comprised of habitat neighborhoods like ritzy Sahara Square and frigid Tundratown, it’s a melting pot where animals from every environment live together—a place where no matter what you are, from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew, you can be anything. But when optimistic Officer Judy Hopps arrives, she discovers that being the first bunny on a police force of big, tough animals isn’t so easy. Determined to prove herself, she jumps at the opportunity to crack a case, even if it means partnering with a fast-talking, scam-artist fox, Nick Wilde, to solve the mystery. Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Zootopia,” a comedy-adventure directed by Byron Howard (“Tangled,” “Bolt”) and Rich Moore (“Wreck-It Ralph,” “The Simpsons”) and co-directed by Jared Bush (“Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero”), opens in theaters on March 4, 2016.

This appears to be a change to original plot details given at D23 two summers ago. As taken from IMDB:

In the animal city of Zootopia, a fast-talking fox who's trying to make it big goes on the run when he's framed for a crime he didn't commit. Zootopia's top cop, a self-righteous rabbit, is hot on his tail, but when both become targets of a conspiracy, they're forced to team up and discover even natural enemies can become best friends.

Now, it appears the two have already been enlisted to work together on a case, but it could be that the new plot is simply expanding on the original details.

Either way, I can tell you I'm super excited, especially just because I love foxes so much! This movie reminds me a lot of Robin Hood, another Disney movie dear to my heart.
